what paint doesn't show dents

I know you will always see dents unless they are completely gone. I am wanting to paint my mud truck and I want to do red. I don't plan on pulling out all the dents, just the major ones. Will red show the dents off really bad? What other colors are good for hiding dents?

The flatter, the better. Satin is better than gloss; flat is better than satin. Not sure how good a flat red truck would look, though.

White is the most forgiving. This 72 Bronco I just sold is a satin finish red, not flat.

rhino-liner doesn't show too many dents.

rock the dents. they add character.

White will hide the most imperfections in body work, black is the worst when it comes to imperfections. It will show everything. So basically, you go from white to black with white being the best. It all has to do with color, shade of the color, metallic vs non metallic, high gloss vs flat. Some metallics or pearls can help hide imperfections, some will help in showing them off.
