Alright on the 450 I need to know much much diff fluid I need. It says on the build sheet limited slip rear end but when the shop tore it apart they said that I have an Eaton locker in it So its got the 4.30 Gears in it and I don't need a friction modifier right. Also does any one know what weight oil to use?
Thanks
Nick
What axle does the 450 have? I think the duallies use the Dana 80. I think that's similar to the Sterling 10.50 I have, but I'm not sure of the Dana's exact specs. Hopefully somebody can add some info.
As for the friction modifier, here's what it says:

Yours is a Dana S110, rather than a Ford axle. Therefore, the way this is written I assume no friction modifier is needed. You can get a PDF copy of the owner's guide at www.motorcraftservice.com. Go to "Owner Guides" on the left, pick your vehicle, and save it for future reference. Hope this helps!
