Hi, This is my first post, Hope you guys can help! I drive a 2000 F250SD and my over head console temp reading always reads -40 degrees. Where can I purchase a new sending unit if that is what the problem is? HELP!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, And where is it located?
Welcome to FTE. Does everything else read properly? Usually the problems we see on the overhead display come from loose resistors that you can just solder back in. I'd play with the wiring at the sender unit and see if you can make the display change any.
It's located behind the grill on the drivers side. You'll have to look through the grill to see it off on the side. Little plastic thing with a pointy top and wires going to the bottom.
