slow to rev up

Hi I have a 04 6.0 it will start but takes longer than norm after wich it idles fine but slow to rev up aprox 5 sec to get up to 2000 rpm's it will go to gov rpm but will not rev up at all under load (in gear) I guess I schould back up a few day ago it ran fine and would do this problem when you would come to a stop and try to take off after several sec would pick up and run fine till next stop now does it all the time

I am not expert with diesel

but that sound fuel filter is slow clogged.

What last time you change fuel filter?

What kind diesel you use? Sound it water in diesel.

I schould have said I just replaced fuel filters after this all started water sep was clean no change ( used motorcraft)
