97 with a problem
Well swaped motor's and it's better but i still have a problem maybe someone can help with.
Before with the old motor it would run but had a miss(burnt piston) it would fight to rev above 2000 so i thought it was in the motor.Now with another motor in it.It still is doing the same thing runs good just fights to rev above 2000.?If sitting still and i floor it it will run up to 2000 and sit there and after 5 or 10 sec it will rev up to 3000 and sound good. let it come back to idle and it does it agian.Now nothing is the same on motor's i left all sensor's and HPOP on motor when i droped it in.
Anyone have an idea?

No chip
Just have fuel in one tank right now.but i may stick some into other tank and try that.i'll get my pump out and pump some into front tank.
Like i was saying it will rev on up just takes some time sitting still and dont want to mess something up driving it like that.
It's just odd that both motor's are doing the same thing and nothing was swaped over from the other motor. Tryed unpluging map and it made it a little worse. I swaped the one from my dually before i pulled the motor out and it did'nt help. I may try it with this motor an see.
I did get the OD light to quit flashing lol.

Well changed out the IDM and it seems to run better.
maybe it's just that it don't have a chip in it YET
It just don't run like my dually lol.
But i have noticed that when its laging it's smoking blue and smell's like fuel
