hard starting
1997 f350 7.3 5spd tranny 200k i have to slam the clutch to floor to start and sometimes she wont start untill i do it a few times with each time geting harder and harder to start any tip tricks ideas would be appericated thank you

IMO it sounds like the worn out clutch bushing.... not the actual switch...

I just wired around it on mine then the cruise wont work. so i put the wire on a switch up under the dash makes a good kill switch.

got it fixed the problem thanks alot for the help i just pulled the connector from the switch on the clutch pedal and put 2 small fuses in place of the switch now my truck will start without the clutch enguaged perfect now my clutch falls off where there is a plastic bushing and gos stright to thr floor sometimes when iam driving i replaced the bushing already from ford that lil plastic piece is 10 $ and it is still falling off the shaft going straight to the floor any tips or trciks on this one????
