Sensor

A few months ago I had to make a trip to the junkyard to find an intake manifold(lower). Unfortunately, the closest one I could find did not have a hole for the Air temp sensor. I really needed my truck, so I went ahead and installed the only manifold that I could find, with the sensor just dangling. My question, is there a way to "rig" the sensor in place, without having to remove, drill, and re-install? Not lazy, just haven't had any luck taking anything apart on this truck, without breaking a bolt.

Sounds like a newer intake. They moved the sensor over to the air box on the fender.
Maybe you could extend the wires and mount it (drill a hole for it) in the air box right after the filter.
