I am looking for replacements for the nuts and bolts for my western mirrors off of my 1973 Ford F-250 Camper Special. I tried Ace Hardware, but no luck. Going to try Home Depot and Lowes, but if I could locate the part numbers and get OEM, I sure would. Thanks for whomever can help...

Giving you the Ford part numbers for the hardware is the EZ part, but first...I want to make sure what mirrors your truck has.
Western Mirrors are the type that have one arm bolted to the door frame above the vent window, and one arm bolted to the door below the vent window.
Some of these mirrors have a 3rd "steady rest" arm that bolts to one of the mirror arms, then to the door below the vent window.
The mirror head (C7TZ17723A) is flat, fits between the two arms, is 6" x 10" stainless steel, has vertical embossed lines on the backside.
Is this the type of mirror your truck has?
If this is not the type of mirrors you have...
1973/79 F100/350: Ford offered 15 different styles of outside mirrors. Describe the type you have.
What are the nuts & bolts for? To mount the mirror onto the doors or what?
The nuts, bolts, and washers are to assemble the mirror to the metal attachment bars that are then attached at three points to each door. They look like acorn nuts, but apparently hard to find. One side has the acorn looking head on it, but has the metal screw attachment, so it screws into another acorn looking nut. Acorn on both sides.

Thank you sir. My mirrors are pictured on my truck in my info for this website. I can't get them to attach to each post to make it easier for you to help me. It does attach to each door at three points. I found a complete set on ebay if it helps... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NOS-1...Q5fAccessories
I am sorry for the confusion. I will get my build sheet out to find out what they called them. I had always thought they were the Western Mirrors (3 point attach) and Junior Western with (2 point attach). The mirrors and attachment bars are in perfect shape, but the nuts, bolts, and washers have not weathered well and some are rusty and look terrible. Thanks...
1973/79 F100/350's have a different lower door contour, and prolly because of this: The 1973/79 Ford Light Truck Parts Catalog lists different part numbers for the Western & Western Jr. mirrors.
The mirror heads themselves are the same 1967/79 (C7TZ17723A). Some of the hardware will also be the same.
Your truck has the 1973/79 version of the Western three point mirrors, correct?
The reason I ask is...at this time, I see no pics of "Norman" in your garage or gallery.
All I see is the avatar pic. Some ppl might be able to make out what mirrors are on your truck by the avatar pic.
Some ppl have 65 year old eyes... ...which makes peering at small pics kinda difficult.
I don't know about you but I like those mirrors, they are the same kind {but smaller] as we use on our big rigs. You might find them at your local truck stop they always have a bunch.
I thought I would update that I have decided to keep the originals and use "Naval Jelly" to get rid of the rust. Not sure what I will use to keep the rust away after, but at least I don't have to try and find these nuts and bolts anymore. Thanks for all the help...
are these the ones you are referring to as westerns?
OR these?
The top pic is of a Western mirror, the bottom pic is a Western Jr mirror (no third "steady rest" arm).
Neither one of these mirrors is genuine Ford. They are aftermarket and were sold by places such as NAPA, Sears, Western Auto and etc.
The two Ford Western mirrors used the same 6" x 10" mirror head (same 1967/79). Look at the pic of the ebay mirrors (link in post #7) to see what the Ford mirror head looks like.
Western Mirrors were sorta passe after 1972, because Ford came out with myriad low mount mirrors that most of these F100/350's have.
The low mount mirror arm bolts below the vent window.
