Dual or Single?

I'm wondering about adding another altonator for additional electrical power.... I'm planing on using a welding unit and was wondering if it would be better to do this or just use generator?

I like the idea of the dual alt.'s cuz it would make the electrical system have plenty of power but don't know if its a easy upgrade.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Do NOT use your truck's electrical system to supply current for welding.

You'll be a very sorry welder.

Use the truck to haul the generator around instead....
