Hi I am new to this so bear with me. I have a 78 supercab 4x4 frame and a nice 77 2wd super cab and I am putting the body off the 2wd on the 4x4 frame. I just scored a 03 superduty 8 inch super lift kit front and rear springs and I am going on Thursday to get my knuckle machined for skys offroad crossover steering and I am also getting the shackle flip kit for the back. ( I am doing a frame drop on the front also that is why I need the shackle flip kit) I have a low pinion big hub 44 and d60 out of a 76 highboy for axles. (I am running a d44 NOT A 60 that's just the way it is) I also have the 4speed and divorced 205 out of the 76 that I want to put behind my 460. my question is I have the drivelines for the 4x4 frame that had a c6/205 and I also have the drivelines for the divorced setup. I was going to run the divorced because of the lift with all the driveline angle but I could buy a married setup or a zf5 setup. do any of you guys have a recommendation or tips on which way I should go with this. I have 39.5 tsl to run on this. I know it is a lot of lift for the tire but that is what I want. I have other trucks to go wheelin in.
yeah I should but I was getting a 400 and 4 speed setup from a good friend to replace the 460 I just pulled out of my bronco to put in this build buuuuuuttt..... he ****** all over my plans and decided to keep it. but what are friends for?
