If you wanted to stay with 5x5 1/2 you should have used the kit that uses 5x5 1/2 pattern rotors. It would be expensive to change it over now and it is doubtful there are any 5x5 1/2 rotors that will fit your axle with the current set up on it. Adapters are your cheapest way out but a lot of people including me don't particularly like wheel adapters. What pattern do you have on the rear? If it's 5x5 1/2 then I'd look at changing that to 5x4.5 to get the pattern the same on both ends. If it's a nine inch there is a way to get the 5x4.5 pattern using Torino axles or have the axles and hubs re-drilled to 5x4 1/2. If you are just trying to use some 5x5 1/2 wheels that you already have then I'd try to sell or trade them for 5x4 1/2 wheels...

Midfifty has the kit for $649, you may only need the adapter for the bearings and rotors/calipers or what the rotors came off of and purchase locally.

well the kit was given to me from my father in law. He has a 1948 f-1. He switched an ifs system so he gave me the kit. He didn't have wheels and tires yet so it didn't matter when he bought them. I already have a set of rims that i want to reuse due to buddget. The rear is 5x 5 1/2 as well I think i found some rotors from lmc that seems cheap, are most the kits the same or not?

ECI has kits for both bolt patterns. Maybr you could talk to them about what to do.
Here's the link.
