Tensioner gone bad
Just thought I would share this with others that may help them. My belt tensioner was on the way out and started to make funny sounds. Also, I have been getting deflection in the belt between the alternator and power steering pump pretty bad. All is good now after replacing it.
Funny thing after I was done I was trying to take the old one apart and read the instruction. Well it said it was spring loaded and could cause severe injuries taking it apart. 
Just thought this might help someone else.

Yup, just did mine recently too after hearing about RussB and his going south on him last January in sub-zero temps while his truck was in 4 ft of snow way up in the mountains! Good preventative fix, as you lose charge, steering and brakes without the belt.
