Jumping Gauges

I have a 1995 E150 with the 351W and 239k miles. Yesterday, I replaced a bad radiator so naturally I'm going to have my attention on the gauges. I was driving and my oil pressure and temperature gauges started jumping up about a full letter in the normal range intermittenly, and my voltage gauge was jumping down at the same time. I have no leaks, and everything seems to be operating normally. Is this a sign of a bad sensor or something more severe?

Update...

I've been driving and watching my gauges for about a week, and now my oil pressure and temperature gauges are hovering a full two letters higher in the NORMAL range, and my voltage gauge is about two letters lower. That being said, if I roll the windows up or down, the gauges will all simultaneously jump up, and then back to their proper positions for about five minutes. Then they start acting funny again.

I have pulled the van off the road a couple of times to check everything out under the hood, and if I turn the engine off but the ignition back on, my temperature gauge goes to where it should be when the van is running properly (assuming that it will read when the ignition is on but not the engine).

If anybody is reading this post or has any information, it would be appreciated.

Try using a volt meter, possibly your voltage regulator is going out.....start with battery voltage first then work towards gauges.

Possible a ground issue also.....

Good luck, John

There is an instrument panel voltage regulator too.
