the older ones were just am-- and everytime we got a new tractor (ok i said every time I actually meant that one time) it was removed from the old and placesd on the "NEW" tractor. DAd always said that listening to Paul Harvey would do me good. Which was on about every am station at noon. about the only station that radio would pick up was Beloit anyway
We had a few radios over the years, one was needed replaced because the valve stuck on the front end loader, and it flipped the bale up and over the top of the tractor on a tractor without a cab or ROP. The bail landed squarely on the radio, but did not mash the fender. The radio took the brunt of the weight. I used the innards on it, to fix one that had gotten water in it. Then Dad bought a new one for a different tractor, but it quit working. That is the one I fixed the switch on.
