Recently my rear end started howling in my 2002 f150 4wd.Of course everyone knows its costly to repair. However i recently found a 1999 ford f150 with the same 3.55 limited slip disc brakes etc. Will this directly swap into place? Are the lug nuts going to be shorter? Quick replies please i dont know how long this deal will last.
I didn't know 99's came with disk brakes. My 99 with rear drums has 12mm wheel studs on all four corners, your 02 has 14mm If you get the lugnuts with the rear end you could just use them although your center caps might not fit right.
You can get the wheel studs pressed out and 14mm studs installed this might get a little more pricy(not sure how much) shouldn't be too much though. the wheel studs are all the same length.
but maybe rear disks already have 14mm studs, hopefully somebody will chime in with a better idea of cost.
