Driveshaft Counterweight
While working on replacing a u-joint on my '02 F-150, I accidentally knocked off one of the counterweights on the driveshaft. How were these attached originally and what's the best way to reattach it? It looked like it might have been welded, but didn't look like much was holding it on.

They are welded on if it is steel. You can try it yourself, or take it out, bring it to a driveshaft shop and have it balanced to make sure it is welded on right and in balance.
