No start after rain

I have a 1989 e 250 full size van
302 with 26,000
i have fuel injection too
after a good heavy rain
it really dont start at all
it cranks over good but no start
got spark
then trying different things to help fire it up
i tried pumping the gas like a crazy person
eventually it starts
im baffeled about it
can someone help me solve this problem

I'd be looking at replacing plug wires, rotor and cap. Even though you have spark it could be affected when wet causing it to weaken or find another path.

Check out the plug with the two small wires that plugs onto the Ignition Coil.
This plug gives a lot of problems when it gets corroded and it gets wet out.
