01 Escape: safe jackstand location?
I see the location on my 01 Escape for jacking it up, but what if I want to put it on jackstands while I rotate tires?
Where do I put the stand when, say the front wheel has been jacked up and I need to let it down on a jack stand?

I put them under the front subframe--you will see a bolt head and a very heavy metal piece when looking behind front wheels looking toward front.Frame looking channels (on body)will bend unless you have a large flat head on top of your stands.LOL Blue

I always put a floor jack in the center, under the diff with a 6-8 inch 2x4 on top of the jack plate.That is after I put jack stands under front first.A flat piece of 1/4 inch steel plate 3" wide by 6" long between jack stand and pinch weld side(where orig Ford jack is used) should support truck without damage or rollover of pinch weld panel.
