Well boys (and gals) I am breaking down and going to sercum to my PMS. I want to buy a chip, a TUNE, and I would like to knwo what company is the best to go with? Is there one that will retune your chip for like free or cheap after you buy it once? Cause if so then I want to know who they are and how much it cost to buy. So thanks guys.
dp-tuner, tony wildman, and php are all top class tuners, myself I ended up with a dp-tuner, thanks to Clay at RiffRaff, with any luck I will be up and going by the weekend and will let you know how it goes
I have a PHP chip on my truck and I LOVE IT! Best thing about bying from PHP is their customer service is top notch. I have the F.U. chip package, but Bill's tunes would be good any way you get them, I think.
I just went with the F-5, I don't need the programable options the F-6 offers, if I was running some big mods then it would be worth it, but for a mostly stock truck that will stay mostly stock I don't need it
Got a 3-pos F-5 from Jody at DP Tuner. Fantastic service, quality, performance, and price. The eco-setting gives me a little more pep when driving around town, and about 22 mpg on the highway (empty bed and no trailer). The 100hp performance code is extremely handy when I need to get on the highway, or if I feel the need to smoke out the dude sitting in the Miata next to me at the stop light None of the codes have over-temped my EGT's, I'm extremely satisfied with Jody's product, and am considering upgrading to the F6, taking into account plans for further modifications.
