Any suggestions on exhaust? Im looking for 5" to replace a stock in a 2000 F350 7.3L. Do i need muffler or cat for legallity or inspection?

 

5" is overkill. I have a 4" SS MBRP, which has been on for 2 1/2 years now. I really like it!

As far as the muffler issue, it depends on your state. Where are you located?

 

4" is all you really need, but 5" does look and sound great on a 7.3L. Some states require a muffler for inspection, but most dont. Also, your truck most likely does not have a cat on it, have you checked? We have several different 4" and 5" kits to choose from, let me know if I can help.
