Safety issues changing radius bushings?

I am gettin ready to change my radius bushings and after reading the forums I am going to do it the easy way by grinding the rivets an d dropping the bracket. While I do this do I need to usejack stands or wheel chocks, do I need to raise the vehicle or leave it on the ground? When I do this are the springs going to fly off or any stuff like that?Do I have to get the alighnment checked after changing these bushings. Thank you and FTE rocks dude.

No the springs will not fly off. But I would raise it so the weight is off the springs it makes it easier.

Do I need to raise the wheels off of the ground or is it best to leave them on the ground.also is an alignment required?

Why do you want to replace them?

You shouldn't need an alignment.

Which bushing are you talking about? The one of the back side of the bracket or the front side?
