its not ford

well im helping my buddy with a camaro he has its a 67 - 327 2sp power glide and I could use some help finding the point gap and the plug wire diagram . i know its not ford but you guys are my regular life line with my truck and my be one has a old chiltons or some thjing with the specs. thanks

The firing order is 18436572. The point gap is .018-.020.

Thanks guys
I set the points this morning and it runs its alive
we rebuilt the carb yesterday poped in the plugs now its running and sounds a little choppy i hope we didnt miss a gasket in the carb the carb kit was full of stuff not for this one lots of gaskets with lots of different hole patterns auto and marine
i will time it and let you know once i find the timing specs thanks again

right know i need to get the truck dirty

Plug gap .035, idle speed with A/C on is 500rpm and timing is 8degrees BTDC. Don`t forget to pull vacuum advance pipe before setting timing.

You can also "fine tune" things a bit by checking the proper dwell of 28-32 degrees.

See step 4 and 5 on the link below. The 327 distributor cap should have a small metal door you can lift up and adjust the dwell with an allen wrench while the motor is idling.

That's a term I haven't heard in a hundreds.

Is this an unmolested '67? Should be worth some bux. Tell him not to pitch it into a power pole doing burnouts....
