Window Gremlin
Ok so here is the deal, when i first bought my truck i had problems rolling the window up and down, If it was all the way up i would have to put one hand on each side and force it down about 1/8" and then it would go down fine. When i would try to get it to roll up i would have to push it down by hand about 1/8" and then it would go up fine. I checked all the wires in the boot in the door to see if there was one that was broken, even tried swapping window motors, didn't help at all. Back in April when i had the transmission rebuilt, I got my truck back from the shop and the window worked perfect(one didnt have anything to do with the other) until this past weekend and it is doing it again, same symptoms as before, except now it will go about 3/4 of the way up and hesitate a couple of time and then stop. I have tried a new window controller and checked the wires and the fuses but to no avail. Any ideas or input???? Winter is getting closer and id like to have it fixed by the time it turns cold.

Its me posting under the wifes profile.
I have taken the door panel off and it is well lubricated, and have also swapped motors out and it didnt change anything. But i think i may have found part of the issue this morning. i went out and tried to start the truck it cranked a few time verry sluggish but wouldnt start. I knew what the problem was so i popped the hood and moved battery cables and made sure they were tight(substantial amount of corrosion in the crossover between the hots) climbed back in and start just like it was brand new. without thinking i hit the button to put the window down and it went down like it too was brand new. Is it possible that the poor connection between my terminals is causing the window issue also?
Trying to learn more and more about these trucks thru trial and error!!!!
