Got my new ported housing in with no instructions so i am lost on what to do. Need to know torque specs and how to adjust the waist gate when i get it installed on my f350. thanks for the help. and any pics or other things i need top know are very appreciated.
I use blue loc-tite on the compressor housing bolts and just snug them up. I'm sure someone will be along with the actual torque specs...
About the waste gate, tighten it down real good to keep it from opening up on you too much. With that housing you won't surge, so you might as well keep that waste gate closed as much as you can. My van turbo has no waste gate, so there's nothing there on mine. It'll be a bit of a pain simply because of the location, unless you're pulling the turbo. Then it's a piece of cake.
You don't need to pull the turbo, but it will make the waste gate adjustment tremendously easier. And you won't have to worry about losing that blasted C-clip. You DEFINITELY don't need to pull the exhaust housing for this either. I'm assuming you don't already have a Wicked Wheel installed, right? You won't need one, but I was just curious. I'm running the ATS ported housing on mine right now with the stock late wheel and it's doing great! No surge at all and a solid 29-30psi on stock injectors.
