390 question.

390 question.

Hey guys, I have a motor that I believe is a 390. I say this because the stroke measures arond 3.780. On the front of the motor there are numbers that read 65 352. Does that mean that this could be a stroked 352, or am I way off base? Any info would be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure you have a 390. All big blocks have a 352 cast on them. Doesn't a 360 have a stroke measure of 3.5?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I think you are right a 360 has a 3.5 stroke

The FE's have either a reversed 105 or a 352 cast into it.

rgr: you got a 390 stroke is 3.784" and 360 and 352 strokes are 3.5"
