radius arm help QUICK PLEASE

My drivers side snapped last night. Called around today, and the oldest anybody has is 1980. Will that work?

79 was the last year for the straight axle so I'm guessing they are different, not 100% sure though.

i'm almost positive that ranger is correct, but its been a while since i've had an 80-86. i see that you live in OH, hit the junkyards surely there are still some lying around. i never keep them when i part one out. may be some one on here close to you will have one.

no, the 80 and newer radius arms will not work. neither for the 2 wheel or the 4 wheel drive models. The 2 wheel drives went from using kingpins in the 70's to using balljoints in the 80 and newer. plus i think but i am not positive about this, but i think they are shorter as well. As far as the 4wheel drives are concernd ranger is correct. plus on the 79 and older trucks the radius arms are solid cast iron and are longer than the shorter stamed steel ones on the 80 and newer trucks.
