if the doors are available that sounds like it would be great for a few of us. I submitted the contact form for Ed's website as directed, so I assume he will call me Monday sometime

Overhead door

I needed the same thing for my '01. I bought the entire console on ebay for about $35 including shipping. I bought the console for the '97-01 expedition because the hardware is the same. The wiring is different, but all of the other parts are interchangeable.

ok here is the information.

part # - price

YL1Z7811586BAA - garage door cover - $80.15

YL1Z7811586AAA - sunglass door cover - $133.58

I have to be honest, at those prices (which are very good compared with MSRP) I may just stick to checking around for some wrecked trucks

Good gravy Ford is pretty dang proud of those parts!!

Wow. When Ford prices there stuff like this, it turns people off to buying new parts, and it makes it harder for dealerships to earn your cash.

They need to get a clue. They aint selling to the government. We shop for good prices. The government will pay $160 dollars for a new hammer and $300 for a toilet seat. We won't.

Open to all!

Come spend some time in the 7.3L forum and you'll be "in the know", so to speak.

The next tech day is scheduled for the last weekend in September.

Thanks Mark. The last I'd heard it was the last weekend. I haven't kept up ever since I figured out I wouldn't be able to come up again and enjoy your hospitality.

The doors should be the same. When my wife comes home tomorrow from work, I'll compare the doors in her Ex against the ones in my F250.

I called them and they told me the Ex doors were different and they didn't have them in stock. But it is possible they might now as it was about 6 months ago when I called.
