I currently have a Hypertech Power Programmer III with an 87 octane tune in my truck. I bought it several years ago and I'm sure there is a few new products out there now with better performance. I run the truck as a daily driver but I have a tendency to get in the gas more often than not. Out of all the new products out there, what would be the best for my truck with 87 octane gas as the regularly used fuel?

Also, if I change intakes I'm told I have to disconnect the neg battery cable to reset the computer to read the new air passing through. At that point the programmer needs to be re-installed as well, right?
