What do I need??
Getting ready to swap E4OD to 5 speed and wanting to swap computer. Truck is 90 150 xlt 4.9. I know I will need to get one from a truck with same engine but not sure which year models will work. Also not sure if it has to be out of a truck with a/c, cruise etc. for all of my stuff to work. Any help/advice greatly appreciated.

I could be wrong but i would think the computer from a F-250 will work as well... I would get a computer from a truck with the same engine and transmission. At the very least this will throw you up to the top of the post board. Are you swaping for the mazda 5spd or the heavier ZF?

I'm using the mazda tranny. Not going to be a work truck or heavy hauler. Bought the whole parts truck for $150.00. Just wondering what year models would work. I know where there is a 93 or 94 that I could get computer out of but not sure if that year would work in a 90 model.
