Hello all! Just purchased my first F-150 about 2 months ago and have yet to take it out of the garage. It's a 1984 2wd with a straight 6 and automatic, p/s and p/b. Basically a stripped down model. I got it from the original family owners with just under 73k miles on it and no body rot which is amazing for this area. It has it's share of things that need fixing but I'm working my way thru it all. It had a problem with the wiring to the lights which is now fixed, has something drawing down the battery which I'm currently working on finding, and the rear spring hangers are busted which a friend is in the process of getting the parts to fix it for me. I'm no stranger to Fords as I've owned many Lincolns, a 1980 E-150 van, and a 1986 full size Bronco.

Hi Rust, welcome to FTE!

I see you have some great "old" iron in your stable.

Check out the chapters in the New England region of FTE and see if you know any of the local Ford owners here,,, https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum217/

Glad to have you as a member, enjoy the site.
