It is sickening that there are a few on this forum that have to stir up s**t over something that has not even happened or as piddly as this subject.
Pete...You keep moving forward and do not let this stand in your way....Very respected fella in my book

I personally am offended that someone would complain about you to the MODS.. I would hope that in the "Community" that is FTE that someone would be man enough to come to you and express there concerns like an adult and fix these problems man to man instead of having you blind-sided out of no where.

I love your product and I hope to buy 2 more off you and even without your product I appreciate the info and knowledge you have passed onto me which has saved me thousands of dollars on inferior products. so in all reality a ton of people including me on here owe you that much.

You don't have to explain yourself, those of us that have been here awhile know what a great person you are.

The level of your integrity level goes without saying.
I AGREE with all above,
Do some people have nothing better to do than stir the pot?

Ditto...

For some of us who have not been here "Forever and a Day", it is nice to hear old war stories on how 'things' came about.

I never even knew you sold 'anything'... all I saw was a brother, helping out another brother. Let it roll off like the rain and keep the pedal to the floor...-around2,000 rpms- (some of the time)

Wow, Pete. Don't know what to say. I never thought you would have felt the need to post something like this.
You've conducted yourself better than everyone else here on the board. Above reproach.

^^^^^ What he said. I find it a little sad that this even came up. I remember Pete being very reluctant to even get into making the covers. Pete is a guy who is very ethical, to the point that he would not take a set of glow plugs off of me when I clearly offered them to him for free. He had to have an exchange, which I find commendable. Pete is as stand up a guy as you will find around here, and having met many of you, THAT is saying something right there.

Pete, I think it's safe to say you have a large fan base here, and a ton of people who like and respect you, including myself. I wouldn't worry if I were you. Just keep doing what you're doing

Guys,

I think Pete is overwhelmed by everyone's support and appreciates it greatly, but I get the impression who would prefer for this thread to die and disappear at this point. Let's do him a favor and let sleeping dogs lie.

Just PM'ed yaa, since joining this site I always admired your work, seing these on other FTE members equipment and been wanting one for a while now, finally pulled the plug, can't wait. I mentioned to you about posting up a pic for all our FTE brothers and sisters to see but I might not do that now. Never read the FTE guidlines, never really cared because Jim always kept us in check or if I ever had a question about a comment in a thread, I PM'ed him. Good luck Pete and keep on doing what your doing, jealousy is everywhere, bums.

Locked as per your request. Pete I for one would go to bat for you in a hearbeat. In my opinion you have never "pushed" your product on the forum you have always asked that it be done privately. I consider you to be a genteman of gentlemen and I personally am honored to be considered your friend.
