Just wondering how hard it would be to change out the plugs on a 2002 F-150 with the 5.4L? Never really done it on a newer truck and have heard it can be tricky.
The back 4 are a PITA to get to, you'll need swivel adapters and a swivel head ratchet helps. You'll also want every extension from 1.5" to 6" to get the right configuration. After you get them out you need to make sue they are properly torqued, around 14lb-ft, which needs to b done with an inch-lb torque wrench. It is also nice to have compressed air to blow the holes out before you remove the plugs.

I respectfully disagree with PITA. A bit difficult but compared to some other vehicles and some vans, the back four are just a bit difficult. If you are not somewhat expirenced working on vehicles it can be a bit more difficult. There is a tutorial on this web site that helps a great deal.
Just take your time and everything will be fine.
It's really not that hard.
Have plenty of tools on hand, lots of extensions, and a patient wife/girlfriend to hold a light for you.
One tip I figured out:
If you don't have the plug socket with the foam in it to grap the plug, just pull the rubber boot off the COP and use it to retrieve the plug after you have it loose.
