quick vacuum question

quick vacuum question
hey guys i was going to run seafoam through a 2001 f150 with the 4.6...when i tried to pull the vac line off the brake booster it hissed out air...i did this on my 91 and my 95 and did not experience this...is this something with the newer truck or is something not right somewhere?
i havent worked on these mod engines so i want to be safe rather than sorry
