NEED SOME HELP on lifts
i want to buy a 3 inch body lift for my 68 f 350 and my dealer can only find a body lift for a 1970 is as old as it go's. Now will the 1970 body lift kit fit my 1968 ???????????????????????

while your truck is still in the same generation (i think), that's not the oldest they go. a body lift is simply a few pieces nylon (etc.) that you put on top of your body mounts. I have a 69 f100 and i found my lift on autopartsauthority.com. you could also just make some from wood...

DO NOT MAKE A LIFT OUT OF WOOD it is NOT safe! the body lift i believe is for a 4wheel drive truck, the steering box is in a different place and will not work on a 2 wheel drive truck. i dont know what yours is but just worth mentioning. if it is a 4x4 i would say it should fit. if you have a 2 wheel drive i would look into an autofab.com kit. or getting taller springs and getting an alignment done to get the camber and caster fixed.
