ignition trouble
hey, i have a 77 f250 with a 351m. the motor has a comp cam, not very big, and a edlebrock intake and 650 edelbrock carb. my factory ignition box and distributor kept giving me problems so i replaced them with a new distributor and an accel 300+ ignition box. the problem is when i tune the timing and carb with a vacum guage and get it running good with no hesitation, its hard to start. it acts like its trying to ether lock, ie cranking slow and eventually starting like the timing is way advanced. it didn't do it before with the stock stuff but i kept having wiring problems. any ideas
