Stupid T/Case question

Ok, I already know that I am going to look and sound like an idiot with this question, but I ask because I have never even needed to touch the T/Case on either of my broncos...

My question is: Which is the full time T/Case? the 203 or the 205?

Like I said, really stupid question.... As I said before, I have never needed to even touch them, so I am just not sure...

Yeah, stupid question, I don't have a stupid answer, I don't understand the question, I wish I knew, I've got a Borg Warner 1356, and it works, so there's that too.

208 is a "fulltime" case. Unsure of the rest.

the 203 was full time
the 205 was part-time
the 208 I thought was a part-time 1980's t/case that ford used before the bw 13-45.

208 was the full-time case used in the 78's and 79's. This case coupled with the spline-to-spline hub adapters for the D44 gave the Bronco a full-time 4wd setup.

No, the NP203 was full time cast iron unit that had a gear driven range select unit that was seperate from the chain driven differential case. Used by Ford during the mid to late 70's.

The NP205 was a part time cast iron unit completely gear driven. That was available in divorced and married mounting positions. Used by ford from the early to late 70's.

The NP208 was only available starting in 1980, as an aluminum cased chain drive unit that was very similar to the BW 13-54 series. Both were available from 1980 to the late 80's.
