4X4 light
my 4X4 light has been on since the first time i ever put it in 4X4. how do i get the light to turn off. its a floor shifter type.
and no, the shifter is not in 4X4.
the low range light comes on in low range like it should.
is there a procedure to turn the light off when its not in 4X4 like the push button type?

Manually shifted t-cases should have the switch for the indicator in the case itself. If it won't go off, the switch is probably shot. The electronically shifted units drive the indicator through pin 12 of the PCM in 1989 only.
