I have a Honda XR50 just to mess around on and the casing cracked on the engine underneath.
The crack is not big at all, everytime I use JB weld it holds for a little bit but ends up cracking too after, not sure why but I've JB welded it too many times, gettin sick of it leakin oil.
I was thinkin of trying to use an oil resistant silicone does anyone else have any ideas??
I would have it tig welded. it keeps opening back up because it heats up and expands when you run it then cools off and contracts. JB weld and aluminum have different densities so they expand and contract at different rates... tig welding aluminum is hard to do.
