my truck...

i love this truck. sunday we went to our cabin at mcbride lake, about 2 hours north of here. i was towing my trailer with 2 quads, had the wifes quad in the truck, all our gear and 4 1/2 people... figure the load weight to be around 4-4500#. got 19mpg both ways, cruise set at 105km/h... i got doubts that any of the other automakers 1/2 ton trucks will match that!!

Sounds awesome man.

When I had my f150, even with the 4.6 it did well pulling stuff, and always seemed to get fair mileage while doing it. I do like the f150's they are good little trucks.

That is good mileage. It is also nice to know that you won't break the bank when you tow something, that is one thing I love about my truck to.

Thats one thing I really love about my truck too. I dont check my mileage as much as I used to, but last time I checked when I was towing my boat, it was alot of mixed driving, while towing, in and out of the city, and it got the same, 19 mpg.

My boats not light either!

Up here at the truck stops, diesel is also 81 cents a liter (last time I checked) so right now its really cheap to burn around in!

Thats not bad considering the size. I would really like to hook up that much and see what I could do mpg wise.

That's really good Sherm, especially the towing mileage.
