got stuck...

in the snow, on my quad. long story short, treeless praries and newfie adventurism make for a very tired me. 3 feet of snow and no trees to winch unto. i do find that my quad is lighter than my FIL's honda though...

just a thought to marlon and anyone else who might join our quad ride on the draggins weekend... have a winch and tow strap... please!!!!!

Time for tire chains unless you get hung up!
Anyone need a 2,000lb 12 v winch? I got a new one I never did use on my Honda before I sold it.

It`s a cheap Costco one still in the box. I`m not sure what I paid, maybe around $65 plus tax. I didn`t even bother to ask their price at Custom Cycle.....

duals might have helped, but a cure for the stupids would be the best solution... oh well, it was fun. at least snow isn't hard on the bike. can't wait to get into some mud though...

With a little bit of weight in the back I don`t have many problems getting around in a 2 wheel drive Ford truck.

i've yet to get stuck with my limited slip screw and i haven't avoided any deep snow if i had to go there. i've come close and it was a reminder that i need tires before next winter... the quad is another story... when thise tires wear out i'll be getting some real traction!!!
