I just bought an 8000 series Pro Comp distributor (probably screwed myself 
). Anyway, I wired it up like in the diagram below and get no spark whatsoever. Anyone ever tried these things or have suggestions???

You know your in trouble when you look at the wiring diagram & it has, coil + (pos) red right to start with. 
what does pos stand for.
Dont feel bad though, I did the same thing, 84.00 trashed, ProComp big cap HEI dizzy.
Its such a piece of crap I'm afraid to drop it in the engine because the end might break off & jam the engine, pretty though with that lite blue cap.
