Guys,
I have been using the Amsoil 15k oil filters for quite some time.
I thought I read somewhere on this site about one that is the same but under another brand name.
Anyone remember something like that?
I'm looking for something over the internet or locally.
Yeah, it's perty nutsy- they were my pick, but, not worth $21.00. Baldwin's what I was wanting to use anyway- where I get them from is a little out of the way, so, now, I just buy 3 or more and shelf 'em. Baldwin's are less than 1/2 the price of the Wix- and every bit as good or better!!
I have used the Motorcraft filter until my last oil change and have had a small leak at the filter gasket. Switched to a Napa filter and the leak is now gone. The Napa filters gasket is flat and has held better than the motorcraft (for me at least).
