Well dont know if i should post "u never got back on the other thread" I have bagged ALOT of trucks, your work looks Great! the only thing I see is 1.that cup does need to be cut down, at least two in..2.The upper A arm mount needs to be brought in an inch or two..the top ball joint is in bad shape...Theres way to much positive camber"top of the tire to far out" the front tires should be almost stright up&down at ride hight and camber IN when lowered..Just my .02...last thing you want is a break going 70 on the Hwy..Nice Build Good Luck

Does the frame need to be boxed in front of the MII crossmember?

Im sorry, but the last thing you posted was what to do if i was still working on the rear. You did not ASK me a question.

I dont have the front where it will be yet just a mock up and trial to see what it would do. I will be lowering the tube that holds the top airbag in the spring hat.

I thank you for your help and all others that have as well. This is not something ive done before and the more heads the better.

I see what you are talking about the plate is to far back. I used the plate that came and fit the contour of the frame there. I will add plate if you think i should. I have seen the pics of others. I guess lesson learned the hard way.

What about the rear, should that be boxed as well?

I dont know where they came from, i bought everything together from craigslist for 600.00 4 bar, tank, panhard bar,2 2400lb bags,2 2600lb bags, hose, valves gages, fittings, bag brackets, compressor. I guess this was for a 1/2 ton truck.

I have seen the same 4 bar kit if you go to suicidedoors.com and look up the 4 bar kits you will find it.

Yes, I would definately add plate forward of what you have and also weld it to the one you already have there.
As for the Rear?.....I dunno.....Sam....you got thoughts on that?

You're going to 4 bar in the back, right?

The rule I like to follow is,
leaf springs, no boxing, the chassis needs to flex
everything else, box it, the suspension does the work, the chassis should NOT flex.
whether you box it all the way is up to you. (I didn't on the 55, will on the 56 with MII and 4 bar)
