What program is everyone using to view saved files(csv)?I cant seem to be able to open them with xl viewer wich is what I thought was the right program. Also how long wil AE record for?
As a side note I think it may be time for a HPOP soon I could only hold 19XX icp in 80 E and for some reason 20XX in 120R.Couldnt read the duty cycles and the ICP and drive so I wanted to be able to check the log.
OK, he used Excel as you stated. Wondering if there may be a compatibility issue between your copies of AE and Excel as if one is too new for the other?
I must be doing something wrong then.I think I saved the file and then used excel viewer to try to view it but it says excel viewer cannot open files of this type.Maybe excel can do it but not the excel viewer?
Just to let others know It takes a full version of excel to look at the log excel viewr wont do it or wouldnt for me.Now I just need to figure out how people make it into a graph?
Any text editor (Word, Notepad, etc) can open a csv file (a csv file is a Comma Separated Value file which is just text...each value is separated from the next value by a comma). You may have to change the extension to txt, but they can easily read it using a word processor.
There are two ways to import data from a text file by using Microsoft Office Excel: You can open the text file in Excel, or you can import the text file...
Once you read the file into Excel, you can graph it easily. You could also import it into Google Docs and graph it there...or send it to me and I'll graph it for you.
