Steps...
I've had my '99 E-350 for a couple of weeks now and I realize that I'm going to need some running boards/step bars to help the short people in my life in and out of the van. After searching a few sites for running boards, I have either been highly disappointed in quality or floored by the cost.
I'm looking for ideas for alternatives. I need something that will be sturdy enough to handle being used as a step, but still look fairly decent. I can't use the step-bar like they are using on trucks thesedays as some of the people need a full width step for stability. Should I look into fabbing up something custom or is there something commercial available that I haven't found yet?
