My New IDI. FINALLY!!

My new IDI. Ive been looking for the right one for about 3 years and finally found it. I wanted an idi with a zf5 and ext cab and 4x4. This thing runs amazing. Starts right up and purs like a kitten. Im in love with already. The only problem is the parking brake needs some finagling and it needs some real tires ASAP. Other than that it drives great even for having dinky little bald road tires on it. CC, AC, heat, power windows and locks all work. Its an XLT lariat and the i terior is super clean. The pictures have floor mats but the carpet and seats are sweeet.

Even found these jewels in the glove box.

And the business card of the original salesman who sold it at the dealership.

Anybody buy an 89 f250 diesel ext cab 5 spd from twin motors ford dealership in Kingston, Pennsylvania fron Angelo Berretta? Haha

Very nice for sure. Wish I could find one like that for a good price, anywhere around my area you'd pay big $$ for that

It's missing the 4x4 badge under the headlight I wonder if it's been wreaked at some point. still a nice truck. I had a white one a couple years ago I sold to someone that wreaked the box and screwed up the transmission.

the 88 and 89 trucks did not have the 4X4 badge under the passenger headlight.
just the diesel badge under the driver side light.

It's not on the box either, dose that mean they didn't mark the 4x4 for those two years

none of my 4X4 diesels had any 4X4 badges on them.
just the diesel under the driver side headlight, and the XLT Lariat badge on the fenders.
4X4 under the driver side headlight was a gas engine thing.

TJC is right. I have an 88 with the 351 w and it's marked with the 4x4. They all used the same spot under the driver's side headlight. Diesels were marked diesel no matter what, 4 wheel drive gas was marked 4x4, and 2 wheel drive gas was marked with the EFI badge. So if you're missing a badge there it should say diesel, not 4x4.

1983 F-250 XLT reg cab custom steel flatbed, custom steel front bumper w/ warn winch, 33" BFG all terrains, 7.3L k&n filter system, tuned injection pump down-piped dual 3" exhaust, pillar pod with glow shift gauges, C-6 auto with shift kit. p.s... yes it was converted from a 6.9L.

I thought my 88 had one, but I looked again in the daylight and it doesn't. sometimes my memory plays tricks on me.

when i put the new cab on the 88, i am going to leave the EFI badge there just to mess with peoples heads.

yup, it's a 88 F-superduty 4 wheel drive with the rare turbo EFI diesel option.
