(Build Thread) My 1995 F150 Flareside Ext. Cab

Hi everybody, this is my official progress thread for my:
1995 F-150 Flareside Extended Cab a.k.a. "Nifty the F150"
5.0 V8 Engine

Before I can tell you about the truck though, I need to give you a quick run-down of how I got my truck.

After searching many pages of craigslist I found a 95' F150 (this one here) for $2000. When I met the owner I ended up talking him down to a $1000 cause the transmission was shot. Then, I offered to give him a bounce house for free.
Final price for the truck: $700

This deal didn't come with a price though. Unknowingly I had to end up forking out $3,000 in repair. The repairs are as followed:

-Transmission Rebuild $1,500
-New Battery $100
-New Dashboard $250
-New Dash Bezel $100
-New Front End $800
-New Brakes $345
-New Tires/Rotation $735

After all the mechanical crap was taken care of, I eventually moved onto the looks of the truck! From June 22 - September 22:

First Day I got the Truck - Many Dents and Horrible 90's Looking Paint-Job Peeling Off (Vanilla-Ice Paintjob as I called it )

Dashboard Replacement (Got rid of that ugly wood trim)

Then took the truck for new tires and wheel alignment

Finally ready for some paint!

(Major Dents taken out first, as you can see there were lots haha!)

Then onto main sanding and prime

Ready for Primer

And then... Bam! The Truck looking more beautiful then she ever did!

After the paintjob I decided to plast-dip the rims to go with the black

Then after all that I moved onto the seats! Originally I had put in a bench seat to replace the cheap aftermarket one's the truck had came with:

I then went on to remove that bench seat and replace them with Bucket Seats I got off Ebay for $370!

And what about the seat covers huh?
Got these from walmart for $20 each. Hell of a Deal and they fit Perfect!

After that I popped a ford emblem off an old grill I had lying around and decided to mount it on the tailgate! (Sanded the back down)

The Final thing I've Done so far is what I did today. Today I replaced the Headliner with black vynil! (Awesome Switch)

Finished putting back together

Hoping to Install the Interior Lights this week with some of your helps guys haha! Will I able to just screw in this dome light? Or do I have to custom mount it?? Thanks

And Oh, if anyone has knowledge of how to install this explorer console in a extended cab, it would help a lot (please!)

Stay tuned and glad to finally be apart of the forums!
Please tell me what you guys think haha

Looks like you got a lot done in a short amount of time! I'm guessing that was some sort of conversion truck, like a Mark III or something, due to the leather seats and the paint.

The dome light uses two plastic clips on the end of the wires that two of the screws that hold the light on screw into. That makes the electrical connection. If you don't have those you'll have to get creative.

Oh those were some ghetto installed seats lol! I know for a FACT those weren't for an f150 haha (notice how they needed metal plates on the side to be mounted)
