38" Tires?

Hey everyone, I am planning to go from my 35" Toyo tires to maybe a 38". I do have the 4" Level/Lift kit on a stock rim right now. I do know that I will have to change out Rims to fit the tire, but I was more curious about it fitting in the wheel well.
Any suggestions? Experience? Place to start looking to purchase? I plan on trying to attend the meet in Oregon early October, so if there is a place close by there that has good prices I would consider grabbing them then.

Thanks!

I think 37 or 38 in tires are recomended for 6in or more lifts. I dont know if they will fit a 4in lift though.

Well, that sounds crappy! LOL, I hope I can fit them in there... There is tonnes of space above the tires, just a little bit tight in the back of the wheel well where the fender tapers... (Only when you turn the wheel...)

I was hoping to fill in the GIANT space above the Tire...

Yeah it's gonna be really hard to fit em under there. Would have to cut alot of the bumper and the the inner fenders. Best bet would be cut out fender flares.

tires

i have a 00 f350 with 6 inch lift. stock size wheels. 37 inchers no problem 38 i can run but they will hit fender bottom during normal usage. off roading im sure wouldnt be good. imo the 37 are the best.

I have heard and seen 37's fit... but 38's might just be pushing it. YOu really are going to need the correct offset or you could be rubbing everywhere...

33's are better for a 4" lift if you plan on off roading, I had a 6" and ran 37's but rubbed really bad so I had to down size to 35's.

Here it is with a 6" on BFGs 37s, forward video to 2:25

Here I'm running 35's on a 6" lift look how close I come to rubbing. Forward Video to 2:38
