I already started down the road of swapping motors, i believe how much my truck was driven with a blown turbo and other issues probably did scar my motor and I believe i am better off swapping blcks. I will however take oil samples from both engines and send them in for testing and let everyone know how it went. thank you for the advice though.
I already am down to just the radiator to come out then i can tear int o the rest of the truck, i had to remove my rear bumper and reciever to get it to fit in the garage as well as pushing the frame horns in the fron through the wall to the outer sheathing.......

Make sure you take that front upper crossmember out... if you have not done that already. It makes it alot easier to remove the motor. Don't unhook any of your AC stuff either... just lay it over the fender... that way you don't have to recharge anything.
