Rear end question

Does a 92 F350 rear axle 10.25 ring gear Sterling have the speed sensor in it like the 93 does?

If memory serves me there isn't any difference between the F250 SRW axle and an F350 SRW axle, right?

Can you put the springs from a F350 on a F250?

I know the the F350 uses a 4'' block between the springs and axle, and the F250 uses a 2'' block, but I can swap those out if I wanted to right?

Thanks

I know theirs guys on here that have swapped F350 springs onto an F250 truck. The rear axles are the same from F250 up to F450 i think. I am fairly certain that the 92 axle should have the speed sensor in it same as the 93.

The springs and axles are the same.
Some 350 springs had a single leaf overload.
Spring block was the difference.

Watch for dually axles, 4" wider axle housing, same spring perch width as a SRW, both trucks have 37.5" frames.

Also cab and chassis axles, 34" wide frame so the spring perches are closer together and only 2.5" wide springs.

If I had another set of springs and I took the longer leaves from it, could I add them to the spring packs already on the truck? or is that a frowned upon practice?

As long as both arch's are about the same and you get new center bolts, that should not be a problem.
